In the Junior Tannahill Shield, Sigona Golf Club stamped its authority with a commanding performance, clinching the title with an impressive total of 464. Demonstrating remarkable consistency across both rounds (231 and 233), Sigona outclassed the field to secure victory by a dominant 30-shot margin.
Royal Nairobi Golf Club finished second on 494, while Karen Country Club claimed third place with a total of 501. The battle for podium positions proved fiercely competitive, with just 11 strokes separating second through fifth place, highlighting the growing depth of junior golf across the country.
Muthaiga Golf Club showed notable resilience, producing one of the best second-round recoveries of the tournament, improving by 21 shots to finish tied fourth alongside Vet Lab Sports Club at 505. Mombasa Golf Club rounded out the standings in sixth.
The Senior Tannahill Shield (5th Edition), however, painted a different picture—one of experience, composure, and tactical execution. Royal Nairobi Golf Club emerged victorious with a total of 483, anchored by a superb second-round score of 235, the best of the tournament.
Muthaiga Golf Club secured second place with 500, while Limuru Country Club completed the podium at 505. Unlike the juniors, the senior competition was significantly tighter at the top, with the leading teams separated by just 24 strokes, underlining the high level of competitiveness.
The mid-table was closely contested, with Western Team, Kenya Railway Golf Club, and Karen Country Club all within striking distance of the podium. Meanwhile, Sigona Golf Club, dominant in the junior ranks, placed seventh in the senior category, reflecting a gap between their junior excellence and senior depth.
Across both competitions, Royal Nairobi Golf Club stood out as the most balanced club, finishing second in the juniors and claiming the senior title an indicator of strong structures across both development and elite levels.
